Welcome to Dirt to Dinner in the Classroom ("Website"). By accessing or using this Website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this Website.
This Website is primarily intended for educators, but accounts are available to anyone who registers. Users must verify their email address to complete the registration process. Dirt to Dinner in the Classroom reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms.
All lesson plans and resources on this Website are the property of Dirt to Dinner in the Classroom. Users may share or redistribute materials freely and may modify lesson plans for classroom use but may not claim ownership of modified versions. Currently, no user-generated content, such as reviews or comments, is permitted.
Users must not share login credentials with others or redistribute Website content for non-educational or commercial purposes. The Website does not integrate with third-party tools such as Google Drive, YouTube, or LMS platforms. External links on the Website are limited to Dirt to Dinner’s main website and official social media pages. We are not responsible for third-party content.
The educational content is created in alignment with Common Core Anchor Standards and Next Generation Science Standards. However, Dirt to Dinner in the Classroom does not guarantee that the content is suitable for every classroom. The Website is provided "as is" without warranties, and we are not liable for technical failures or misuse of content.

Dirt to Dinner in the Classroom ("Website") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
During account registration, we collect first and last name, email address, school role, state, and grade band interest (K-4, 5-8, 9-12). Additionally, we collect website activity data, such as lesson downloads, pages visited, time spent on pages, as well as browser and device information.
We use collected data for analytics, reporting, personalized recommendations via email, and feedback requests through third-party tools such as JotForm and SurveyMonkey. Additionally, we use it to communicate updates regarding lesson plans and other relevant content.
User data is shared within the Dirt to Dinner organization for internal reporting and analytics purposes. No user data is sold or shared with external parties for marketing purposes. User data will be retained in accordance with standard educational program policies. Users may request deletion of their data by contacting Dirt to Dinner in the Classroom via the Website’s contact form.
The Website relies on Wix’s default security measures to protect user data. This Website is intended for users 18+ and does not collect student data, eliminating the need for COPPA compliance. If you have any questions about these policies, please contact us via the Website’s contact form.

Eligibility: The Dirt to Dinner Rapid Rewards Sweepstakes is open to educators who are U.S. citizens, are at least eighteen (18) years of age, and have completed the survey regarding Dirt to Dinner in the Classroom (DirtToDinnerInTheClassroom.org). Limit one (1) entry per person. Employees of Dirt to Dinner, CustomED, Inc., their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies or other individuals engaged in the development, production, or distribution of promotion materials and persons who are immediate family or who reside in the same household as persons in the preceding categories are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

How to Enter and Win: Beginning at 12:00:01 am Eastern Time (“ET”) on April 22, 2025 and ending at 11:59:59 pm ET on May 31, 2025 (the “Promotional Period”), eligible participants automatically receive one (1) entry into the drawing. Limit one (1) entry per eligible participant. Ten (10) Grand Prize Winners will be selected by June 2. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Entries may be subject to verification prior to prize drawing. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged or incomplete entries, or for transactions that are processed late or incorrectly computed or are lost because of computer error or malfunctions, all of which are void.

Random Drawing: On or about 12:00:01 am ET on June 2, 2025, a random drawing will be conducted from among all eligible entries received. The random drawing will be conducted by CustomED, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this sweepstakes.

Grand Prize: Each Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) Gift Card, valued at $50.00. Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by Sponsor in the event that a prize (or part thereof) cannot be awarded, in which case Sponsor will in its sole discretion award a prize (or part thereof) of equal or greater value. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Winner understands that he/she must claim a prize award on his/her tax return that is valued at $600.00 or greater.

Winner Notification/Prize Claims: All Winners will be notified within one (1) week of the drawing. The prize will be sent to an address provided by the winner. It is the responsibility of the winner to provide an accurate mailing address or email address to receive their prize. If no address is provided within ten (10) business days, the team may choose a replacement winner. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide accurate information for prize delivery within ten (10) business days.

Additional Terms: By accepting a prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By acceptance of a prize, winner agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor, Dirt to Dinner, CustomED Inc., their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies or other individuals engaged in the development, production, or distribution of sweepstakes materials (“Releasees”), from all claims or damages arising out of participation in both this offer and/or sweepstakes and/or acceptance of any prize or offer, including any injuries or damages of any kind sustained in connection with the use, acceptance, possession or awarding of any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to modify prize award procedures at its discretion. Subject to applicable Federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Limitation of Liability: Releasees are not responsible for printing, typographical, human or other errors of any kind in any sweepstakes-related materials; for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible entries; or for transactions that are lost, misdirected, or fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly, or are lost for any reason, including computer, telephonic, paper-transfer, or human error, or electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction, damage, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, or any combination thereof. If, for any reason, this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, actions of participants, technical failures, or any other causes corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entry or participant and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes and award a prize from among all eligible non-suspect entries validly received prior to the action requiring such modification.
